மொழி, பிராந்திய எல்லைகளைக் கடந்து மனதுக்கு நெருக்கமான காதல் கதைகளுக்கு ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் தனி வரவேற்பு உண்டு. இந்த ஆண்டு, உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான கதைகளையும், பொழுதுபோக்கு அம்சங்கள் நிறைந்த திரைப்படங்களையும் தமிழ் சினிமா ரசிகர்கள் வரவேற்று வருவது நம்பிக்கையளிக்கும் மாற்றமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. அந்த வரிசையில், வண்ணமயமான காட்சிகளாலும், இதயத்தை வருடும் புரமோஷன் பாடல்களாலும் ஏற்கெனவே கவனம் ஈர்த்துள்ள திரைப்படம் ‘ஹைக்கூ’. அக்டோபர் 23 ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகவுள்ள நிலையில், இப்படத்தின் இயக்குநர் யுவராஜ் சின்னசாமி இந்தத் திரைப்படம் குறித்தான தனது அனுபவத்தைப் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டுள்ளார்.

“‘ஹைக்கூ’ படத்தை உருவாக்கும்போது, எல்லா வயதினரையும் கவரக்கூடிய ஒரு காதல் கதையைச் சொல்ல வேண்டும் என்பதே எனது விருப்பமாக இருந்தது. பொதுவாக, காதல் கதைகளுக்கு இளம் ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் அதிக வரவேற்பு இருக்கும். ஆனால், வயது வித்தியாசமின்றி அனைவரையும் கவரும் காதல் கதைகள், ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களுடன் தொடர்புபடுத்திக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய உணர்வுகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கும். தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் டாக்டர் டி. அருளானந்து சார் மற்றும் மேத்யூ அருளானந்து சார் ஆகியோர் கதையைப் புரிந்துகொண்டு அதன் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்தது மகிழ்ச்சியளிக்கிறது.

ஒரு பெண்ணின் காதலைப் பெற முயற்சிக்கும் காதலன் என்ற எல்லைக்குள் மட்டும் ஏகன் கதாபாத்திரம் நின்றுவிடுவதில்லை. எதிர்பாராத விதமாக அவர் செய்யும் ஒரு செயல், அவரது வாழ்க்கையையே மாற்றுகிறது. அதன்பிறகு அவர் எதிர்கொள்ளும் உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான போராட்டங்கள் கதாபாத்திரத்துக்கு மற்றொரு பரிமாணத்தை அளிக்கின்றன. ஏகன் கதாபாத்திரத்துடன் ரசிகர்கள் நிச்சயம் தங்களைப் பொருத்திப் பார்ப்பார்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.

படத்தின் மூன்று முதன்மை நடிகர்களுக்கும் பல்வேறு உணர்வுகளை வெளிப்படுத்தக்கூடிய சவாலான கதாபாத்திரம்.நடிகர்கள் தங்களது கதாபாத்திரங்களின் உணர்வுகளை உண்மையாகப் புரிந்துகொண்டு, அவற்றை உள்வாங்கும் போதுதான் இத்தகைய நடிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்த முடியும். ஏகன், ஸ்ரீதேவி மற்றும் ஃபெமினா ஜார்ஜ் ஆகியோர் படத்தில் அதை சிறப்பாக செய்துள்ளனர். ‘ஹைக்கூ’ இதயத்தை வருடும் பொழுதுபோக்குத் திரைப்படம். இந்த காதல் கதையை நிச்சயம் ரசிகர்கள் ரசிப்பார்கள் என்றும் உறுதியாக நம்புகிறேன்” என்றார்.

டாக்டர் டி. அருளானந்து மற்றும் மேத்யூ அருளானந்து ஆகியோரின் விஷன் சினிமா ஹவுஸ் நிறுவனம் ‘ஹைக்கூ’ திரைப்படத்தைத் தயாரித்துள்ளது. ஏகன், ஸ்ரீதேவி மற்றும் ஃபெமினா ஜார்ஜ் ஆகியோர் முதன்மை கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். இவர்களுடன் அதிர்ச்சி அருண், சுப்பிரமணியன் சேது, அதியமான், மைம் கோபி மற்றும் இந்துமதி மணிகண்டன் உள்ளிட்டோர் நடித்துள்ளனர். சித்து குமாரின் இசையில் உருவான பாடல்கள், ஏற்கெனவே ஆடியோ தரவரிசையில் முன்னணி இடங்களைப் பிடித்துள்ளன. பிரியேஷ் குருசாமி ஒளிப்பதிவைக் கையாண்டுள்ளார்.

‘ஹைக்கூ’ திரைப்படம் அக்டோபர் 23 ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. சக்தி ஃபிலிம் ஃபேக்டரி நிறுவனத்தின் சக்திவேலன் பி, இப்படத்தைத் தமிழகம் முழுவதும் வெளியிடுகிறார்.

This year has been an encouraging phase for Tamil cinema, with audiences embracing content-driven entertainers and stories that strike an emotional chord. Joining this growing league is Haiku, which has already drawn attention with its colourful visuals and heartwarming promotional songs. Ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on October 23, director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy opens up about the film, his vision and the emotions that shape this romantic entertainer.

“When I conceived Haiku, I wanted to tell a love story that would appeal to audiences across all age groups. Love stories often find their strongest following among younger audiences, but the ones that transcend age are those that offer something deeper and more relatable to everyone. Thankfully, our producers, Dr. D. Arulanandhu sir and Mathewo Arulanandhu sir, connected with the story and believed in it. Aegan’s character is not merely that of a lover boy trying to win a girl’s heart. He goes through a turbulent emotional phase following an unintentional act that changes his life. This gives the character another dimension, and I believe audiences will connect with his journey. The three lead characters required artistes who could express a wide range of emotions, with innocence being particularly important to their portrayals. That kind of performance comes when actors truly understand and internalise the emotions of their characters. I am happy that Aegan, Sri Devi and Femina George have brought such beautiful performances to the film. Haiku is a feel-good entertainer with a heartwarming love story, and I am confident that audiences will connect with its emotions and enjoy the film,” says Yuvaraj Chinnasamy.

Haiku is produced by Dr. D Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu of Vision Cinema House. While Aegan, Sri Devi and Femina George are playing the lead roles, the others in the star-cast include Adirchi Arun, Subramanian Sethu, Adhiyaman, Mime Gopi, and Indhumathi Manigandan. Siddhu Kumar’s songs have already clasped top positions in the audio charts and Priyesh Gurusamy is handling cinematography.

Haiku is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on October 23 with Sakthivelan B of Sakthi Film Factory releasing the film across Tamil Nadu.
