"65" Movie Review

"65" Movie Review

"65" is an ambitious movie that takes its audience on a journey through time, all the way back to the era when Dinosaurs ruled the Earth, 65 million years ago. The film stars Adam Driver as Mills and Ariana Greenblatt as Koa, two travelers from a different planet who are stranded on Earth after their spaceship crashes.

While the concept of "65" is intriguing, the execution of the movie falls a little short of expectations. The pacing of the film is tadd slow, even for a runtime of 90 minutes, and the lack of thrilling sequences can make it hard for viewers to stay engaged. There are only a couple of jump scares, which are not enough to sustain the audience's interest.

However, one of the highlights of the film is the performance of Ariana Greenblatt as Koa. She delivers a convincing portrayal of a 10-year-old who is trying to navigate her way through a strange and dangerous new world along with Adam Driver. The sound effects and visual effects are also well done, and they add to the immersive experience of the movie.

Despite these positive aspects, "65" did not hit the right note for a thrilling and engaging movie for an excellent plotline it had. The film, if it had more encounters with the beasts and the action sequences with them choreographed better, 65 would have been an intriguing watch.

In conclusion, "65" is a movie that had a lot of potential but falls short to deliver on its promise. It's a movie that can be enjoyable for fans of sci-fi and adventure movies, but it's not for everyone. If you're looking for a fast-paced and thrilling film, "65" may not be the best choice.
