Pandi Oliperukki Nilayam Movie Review
Sabarish, son of veteran stunt master Fefsi Vijayan, takes to playing the lead role in a light-hearted Pandi Oliperuki Nilayam. The movie is set around a group of friends who go around having fun. What happens when a male protagonist falls in romance and his lovelife meets with a twist.
Sunaina plays the female lead while a host of film personalities including Thambi Ramiah, Sinagm Puli, Karunaas andSoori in the cast. Cinematography is by U K Senthilkumar and music by Kavi Periyathambi. Unlike his previous films, the movie harps on romance and fun elements all through.
Pandi (Sabarish) is a happy-go-lucky youngster who loves the company of his friends.Valarmathy (Sunaina), daughter of a rich man falls for Pandi. Valarmathy is in deep love withPandi. An accident affects Pandi's senses. What happens to their love forms the rest? Do the friends try to get united? Watch out for answers on screen.
Sabarish does play his part well. He is at in action sequences. But misses out scoring brownie points on emotional elements. Sunaina promises aplenty and delivers them well. She is cute, bubbly and fits the role well. She oozes glamour in song sequences too. Thambi Ramiah, Karunaas play their part exceedingly well, while Singam Puli tries to evoke laughter, ends up in vain.
The movie is made watchable thanks to cinematography by U K Senthil Kumar. His captures events well. Music by Kavi Periyathambi is average. Produced by Nesika Thiraiyarangam, Pandi Oliperuki Nilayam is well begun half done.
