Actor Udhaya starts Valliammai Alagappan Education Trust named after his mother on his birthday to provide necessary assistance for unhindered education
Greetings to everyone. With your best wishes I am very happy to share with you the information about starting an educational trust on my birthday today.
I have started Valliammai Alagappan Education Trust in memory of my late mother. We have taken this initiative with an aim to help the deserving poor children to get the education of their choice without hindrance.
When I was Executive Committee member of the Nadigar Sangam and on many other occasions whenever people approached me, I have arranged free education for many children through educational institutions known to me. Now I am going to continue it through the Valliammai Alagappan Education Trust established in my mother's name.
Education is a very important thing. That too students should get the education of their choice. Our aim is to ensure that children who have lost their parents, children raised by single parents and students whose parents are economically disadvantaged should continue their education. If they contact us, our team will provide necessary assistance.
Although there are already many such organisations, the number of students who need help is also high. At the same time, educational institutions also provide free education to many students. Therefore, through this trust, we will help the needy students through educational institutions that are well known to us and also through many other educational institutions. I am very happy to launch this trust in the name of my mother today.
Through this trust, with the support of Chancellors and owners of educational institutions, we are embarking on this new journey with the blessings of all of you.
