I am very happy to have received Best Film Puducherry State Award ‘Sri Sankaradoss Swamigal’ award for ‘Thaen’.

I am very happy to have received Best Film Puducherry State Award ‘Sri Sankaradoss Swamigal’ award for ‘Thaen’. I worked very hard while making the movie. Acting in the movie as character ‘Velu’ was one of the most challenging characters I ever played. Shooting in the terrains of Kurunjikudi and Theni Government hospital were very heart wrenching. After the shoot, to come out of the character took me a while. Now when all our efforts are being rewarded it just feels worthwhile and gives me more courage to do such roles in films.
