Premiering on 22nd July, Meme Boys is a story of four unassuming college kids who run an anonymous meme page that takes on their oppressive college administration, a movement that later, accidentally, turns out to be a college-wide revolution. Created by Rajiv Rajaram and Drishya Gauta, the show is directed by Arun Koushik. Meme Boys features Guru Somasundaram, Badava Gopi, Aadhitya Bhaskar, Siddharth Babu, Jayanth, Namritha, and Nikhil Nair in prominent roles. The showrunner is Gokul Krishna.
Tamil Rockerz, meanwhile, follows the story of Rudra, a cop with a scarred past, who must fight against time, unruly fans, and an anonymous network of cyber pirates to secure the massively budgeted and highly anticipated, 'GARUDA', 'Athiradi Star' Adithya's next movie, from the notorious piracy group, Tamilrockerz. Headlined by Arun Vijay, the show will feature Vani Bhojan, Ishwarya Menon, Azhagam Perumal, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and MS Bhaskar in pivotal roles. Directed by Arivazhagan, the show is written by Manoj Kumar Kalaivanan and produced by AVM Productions.
Starring an ensemble cast of Sanchana Natrajan, Rohit Nandakumar, Madonna Sebastian, Senthil, Karu. Pazhaniappan, Ramya Nambeesan, Chaams, Vivek Prasanna, and Vijay Adhiraj amongst others, Kalyum Kalayum is an episodic series of serendipitous events that bring together a compulsive thief and an unlucky pickpocket, who inch closer to falling in love with every act of theft they commit. Created by Rohit Nandakumar, Karthik Subbaraj will serve as a showrunner for this one.
However, the fun doesn’t end here. The robust line up will also boat of ‘Victim’, helmed by Venkat Prabhu, Chimbudeven, Pa.Ranjith & Rajesh M. It is an anthology about how a section of people are becoming the victims of society. The show will feature Amala Paul, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Guru Somasundaram, Lizzie Anton, Prasanna, Nataraja Subramanian, Thambi Ramaiah, Kalaiarasan Harikrishnan and Nasser M.
In addition to these, SonyLIV will soon be launching Cheran Pandian’s directorial Journey, Accidental Farmer & Co by showrunner Balaji Mohan and Applause Entertainment, and director Arun Prakash’s Iru Dhuruvam 2.
