Lubber Pandhu marks the directorial debut of filmmaker Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, an award-winning writer..

The film features Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh as the title characters. Swasika Vijay and 'Vadhanthi' series fame Sanjana Krishnamoorthy are playing the female lead characters in this film. Besides, Devadarshini, Bala Saravanan and many more prominent actors are appearing in important roles. 

Both the lead actors and others underwent vigorous training to look befittingly perfect with cricketing game. 

The shooting that commenced recently is now nearing completion. During this juncture, the team has kick-started the dubbing works that began with a ritual ceremony at Knack Studios.
