Sooryavanshi - Movie Review

Sooryavanshi - The fourth movie in the Rohit Shetty's cop universe after the 

Singham and Simmba movies features Akshay Kumar in the titular role. Yet another cop story from Rohit Shetty but what is most exciting is how he manages to deliver it every single time with his cop stories. 

A high octane action drama or what we can call as a commercial potboiler is what Sooryavanshi is about. Akshay Kumar is apt as the cop with a very good supporting cast right from Javeed Jaaferi to Jackie Shroff. Katrina Kaif has a very limited screen time and does what is required of her including a sensuous item song in the 2nd half which is bound to become a visually hit song. 

The last act of the movie is when Rohit Shetty unleashes everything in his kitty. All hell breaks loose and the movie picks up pace from its already fast paced environment into jet speed when the extended cameo of Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Ajay Devgn as Singham make their appearance towards the fag end of the movie. The trio demolishes the screen with both their action and hilarious dialogues ending the movie on a high note.

Sooryavanshi - Absolutely enjoyable high octane action and commercial flick which is a definite watch and a lot of fun
