After the roaring success of the first five seasons, and as part of its upcoming revamp Kalaignar TV has come back with a grander sixth season of the show. Prominent directors Vettrimaaran and Cheran are the judges for this season.

Being telecast at 8 PM on Sundays in Kalaignar TV, NaalayaIyakkunar - VI is a trial by fire for the contestants in every aspect of film making.
