‘A SAFER US IS A SAFER WORLD!’
The world was devastated by the first wave. We were devastated by the second. We were
watching world news. Then, we became the news of the world. We lost people we knew,
people we spent our time with, people we loved. People were crying in hospitals with no beds
and oxygen as Hospitals were turning into mortuaries. Crematoriums were not able to burn
the bodies as ran out of wood for the pyres.
We told ourselves ‘It is all right now’ and we paid the price.We should have listened when it
mattered. But we became the talking point of the whole world. We cannot forget, Our fear of
death, the tear filled faces, our frantic run for oxygen, and the deaths that happened around
us. We have still not overcome this. It may happen again anytime.
This three minutes video gives us a unique perspective about wearing mask. To create an
awareness globally and be easily understood minimum dialogues and maximum expressions
have been portrayed in this video. Wearing mask not only saves us but everyone around us as
well. We have to remember that masking is our pro active step towards ensuring the safety of
everyone around us. One thing we all need to keep in our mind is that our slightest lapse will
cause the next big wave.
I CAN’T BREATHE | ABOUT THE CREW
‘I Can’t Breathe’ short video was shot during the second wave of Corona Pandemic. It has
been Written and Directed by Kaga, who has worked as ‘first assistant director’ under Film
Director KV Anand.
Smruthi Venkat, one of the Kollywoods’ sensational actress has volunteered with her
performance along with five another artist from the industry. The main technicians who’ve
worked on this project were long time collaborators of Director KV Anand in his movies.
They’ve risked their lives for the safety of others through this project.
This short video was Produced by Dr. Surapaneni Krishna Mohan and Co-Produced by LifeCell
and Metro Minds Studio. This video was initiated by JITO CHENNAI and supported by
Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute.
‘I Can’t Breathe’ short video was launched by Actor R Madhavan on Twitter. And first look
posters was launched by Actress Aishwarya Rajesh and Actress Madonna Sebastian.
