Vishal Officially Announces His Directorial Debut with Magudam (Telugu: Makutam) Under Super Good Films — A Diwali Message of Light, Responsibility & Renewal

On this special occasion, *Actor Vishal* officially unveiled the second look of his much-awaited bilingual film Magudam (Tamil) / Makutam (Telugu) and revealed a long-pending stand he had taken during the early stages of production.

“Now, it’s time to officially announce that this film is going to be my directorial debut,” said Vishal. “Yes, I never expected this scenario, but circumstances led me to take a crucial decision to rework the creative process and direct this film. It’s a decision made not out of compulsion, but out of responsibility.”

Produced by the legendary R. B. Choudary under the prestigious Super Good Films banner, Magudam / Makutam brings together two strong forces of Tamil cinema, a producer known for his golden touch and a star known for his integrity, discipline, and courage to stand by what’s right.

“As an actor, I’ve always believed that cinema is a commitment to the audience who trusts us and to the producers who invest their faith and hard-earned money in every project,” Vishal added. “Taking the director’s seat for Magudam / Makutam is the only way to ensure that this film stands tall, that the producer’s efforts are safeguarded, and that the audience receives the best experience they truly deserve in the world of commercial cinema.”

As the film nears the final stages of filming, Vishal finally spills the beans that he had taken over the mantle as the director during the initial stages of filming and took the crucial decision to rework the creative process right from scripting to execution.
