Quentin Tarantino's tenth movie, brings the Hollywood celebrities lifestyle from the 60s-70s to big screen with such a powerful cast lead by Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt and strongly supported by Al Pacino, Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning, Kurt Russell among many others. The movie follows the life of Hollywood star Rick Dalton and his Stunt Double Cliff Booth who is also his best friend.
The movie is a typical Tarantino genre but surprisingly little bloodshed but when you watch the movie, one will know where the entire core of the movie lies when it comes to Tarantino. It is the third act. The last 20 minutes as usual turns out to be as crazy as Tarantino could get. Absolutely loved the climax. There were other stand out performances in the movie with several pretty long shots with DiCaprio and Pitt.
The most notable scenes are the ones with DiCaprio and the 8-year old girl, Brad Pitt at the Ranch and Pitt's confrontation with Bruce Lee, DiCaprio's angry breakout in the trailer and several other long shots in the movie shooting sequences. The movie is a bit long drawn out. The best part of the movie is the chemistry between Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.
Definitely enjoyable though a tad lengthy.
