"War" is a film that is made relying heavily on special effects and it delivers to the point on that front.

This is the most emotionally driven story in this rebooted trilogy of Apes. It is poignant and doleful but ends with a bang to the series. The movie is surprisingly very dialogue-driven in the first half. As the last act approaches, the movie enters stealth mode, in terms of dialogues and delivers more on the background score.

This movie has one of the best sound effects we could experience in a good movie theatre in recent times. Beautifully shot visuals add more depth to the story. Visual effects are top notch and brilliantly done. One person who deserves much more appreciation than all this is Andy Serkis, the master of Mo-Cap (Motion Capture). He delivers his career high performance as Ceaser. He is just mind-blowing in this movie. He surely deserves an Oscar for being the most captivating actor through motion capture.

"War" ends on a high emotional note and completes the reboot saga as a captivating and indelible movie.
